iBinder has been named the winner of the BA Tech Awards 2026. The award recognises an AI solution that automatically reads and structures information in drawings, but also reflects a broader transformation of iBinder – from a digital binder to a modern information platform for construction and real estate companies, where information can be managed and used throughout the entire property lifecycle.
The award was presented at Business Arena Stockholm on 16 September. Four finalists had been selected by vote and were invited to present their services and projects to the jury before iBinder AI was named the winner.
The jury explained its decision:
At a time when time itself is in short supply, efficiency is essential. This is not always easy when older information needs to be integrated into new systems. Here, a product has been created with a high level of technical sophistication and time-saving capabilities, with the potential to solve a major challenge for the industry. The winner has taken its business from binder registers to proprietary AI models and is now set to take the industry into the future.
Innovation for better information management throughout the entire property lifecycle
iBinder has long been associated with the digital binder and document and drawing management. That perception still exists in parts of the market, but it no longer reflects what the platform is today.
Today, iBinder is a modern information platform for the construction and real estate industry, where information can be collected, structured and used from project and handover through to operations and property management.
iBinder AI is a concrete example of this development. Using proprietary AI models, information in both new and older drawings can be automatically read and structured. This reduces the need for manual work and makes existing information easier to find and use.
iBinder is no longer the digital binder. Today, we have a modern information platform that helps construction and real estate companies create better information flows from projects to property management and throughout the entire property lifecycle.
