Region Uppsala utilises iBinder for its property and service management
iBinder is a platform that is especially suitable for municipalities and regions. The Property and Service Department of Region Uppsala has been a customer of iBinder since 2010 and currently uses iBinder as a project portal for file and document management and case management in its building projects. Following an internal project in 2023, in which the department reviewed its operational needs, Region Uppsala developed and launched customised working methods, including a template structure linked to the region’s construction process, which has been used in the new iBinder since December 2023.
Document and file management adapted to the needs of public administration
A region needs to take a life-cycle approach to all construction, and constantly adapt its projects and management to the relevant governance and budget requirements. iBinder’s customer support and development department are in constant dialogue with our public sector customers, including municipalities and regions, to ensure the platform is developed to support new regulatory requirements and ways of working. We will shortly be launching several enhancements aimed specifically at large property managers, which will make it easier to both keep track of large property portfolios and transfer data and documents more smoothly between different phases, such as design, construction and management.

The department’s mission is to handle issues relating to Region Uppsala’s ownership and management of properties, as well as issues relating to development in the areas of property, technology and service. It is a skilled and professional property and service body in which employees and operations together lead the development to achieve a sustainable future in the region.
