iBinder AI – now live in the platform
iBinder AI is now available in the platform. This marks an important step in our long-term efforts to simplify the management of drawing information in construction and real estate projects.
Automated management of drawing information
iBinder AI leverages the information already contained in drawings and makes it immediately usable—without manual steps or unnecessary administration. The feature makes it easy to organize and search information, saving time and creating a clearer project structure.
How it works
- Select a drawing in PDF format
- Click “Extract metadata with AI”
- Review the suggested metadata
- Approve before saving
All metadata suggested by the AI must be approved by the user. The AI only fills in empty fields and never overwrites existing data. This ensures full control over the information at all times.

- Metadata becomes searchable and integrated into the workflow
The technology behind it
iBinder AI uses advanced text detection that works on drawings from various sources:
- Exported from CAD
- Scanned raster drawings
- Lower-quality copies
If the text is readable to a human, the AI can generally detect it as well. The feature uses both the standard model (for description, phase, scale, and date) and the BEAst model (for more structured metadata from BEAst stamps).
Security and privacy
- No data is shared between organizations
- Model training is conducted separately
- Customer drawings are never used for training without explicit consent
