New in Q&A: multiple question boards in the same project
We continue to develop Q&A in iBinder to make communication in projects even clearer and more flexible. Recently, we have introduced improved notifications as well as an updated layout and an improved interface that makes it easier to follow and manage questions within the project.
We are now introducing the next improvement: support for multiple Q&A boards within the same project binder.
This means that it is now possible to create several question boards within a single project. Boards can be placed either at the root of the project or inside a folder, making it possible to structure questions by, for example, project phase, discipline, contract package, or work area.
Each board is completely independent, which means that discussions are kept separate between different parts of the project. Questions cannot be moved between boards, which helps preserve the context of the communication.
When a question is asked directly from a file, the user can also choose which Q&A board the question should belong to, ensuring it is placed in the correct context from the start.
The boards follow iBinder’s standard permission and locking features. This means a board can be locked and made accessible only to selected users or groups. This makes it possible, for example, to separate discussions between different project parties or different project stages. As with other locked tabs, the project’s administrators and owners cannot be locked out.
This new feature makes it easier to structure communication in larger and more complex projects, while ensuring each discussion remains clear and relevant to the right participants.
