Customize Your Metadata Configuration – All by Yourself
For a long time, many of you have had the need to customize metadata and tab types based on your own workflows and information structures. Until now, this has been done in collaboration with our support team. As this functionality has been highly requested and appreciated, we are now taking the next step and launching a brand-new interface where you, as organization owners, can manage and further develop your metadata configuration independently.
With the new interface, you gain full control over how metadata is structured in the system. You can now create your own metadata fields, choose the type of input to be used – such as free text, dropdown lists, dates, or other field types – and tailor them to your specific needs. This makes it easier to ensure that the right information is collected in a consistent and structured way.
In addition, you can create and configure your own tab types. You decide how the information should be presented by setting the order, layout, and which metadata fields should be displayed in each tab. You can also mark which fields are required, which helps improve the quality of registered data and reduces the risk of incomplete entries.
All previous customizations we've assisted you with are already available in the new interface. These can be easily adjusted, extended, or complemented with new fields and tab types—without losing any existing data. This means you can continue to evolve your configuration as your organization’s needs change.
This new feature gives you greater flexibility, faster adjustments, and increased independence. No more waiting for support to make changes—you can now do it yourself, whenever it suits you. At the same time, it lays the foundation for a system that truly reflects your processes and ways of working.
