Improved navigation and updated user experience

We have implemented several improvements to the platform’s navigation and user experience to make it easier to find the right information and work more efficiently, whether you are working at the organization level or within a binder.

    New structure and clearer overview

A new, unified navigation structure with a left-hand menu is now standard. It provides a clearer distinction between Home, Organization, and Binder, making it easier to understand where you are and how to navigate further.

The new navigation is automatically rolled out to all users. It is also possible to manually switch back to the previous navigation if desired.

At the organization level, we have introduced a new overview page and improved the ability to switch between organizations. The home page has also been updated to provide a better overview of your organizations and roles.

Navigation within binders has also been improved, with a more consistent structure and clearer visual feedback, for example indicating whether a folder contains content or not.

    Faster access to your work

As part of the update, we have also added the “Recently viewed” feature to the home page, allowing you to quickly continue where you last left off.

Together, these changes contribute to a more intuitive and efficient work experience, while also creating a solid foundation for future improvements.

New feature: Areas – structure content and manage access

We are introducing Areas, a new feature that makes it easier to structure content and control access within an organization.

With Areas, you can group binders based on, for example, projects, regions, or organizational units. This ensures that users only see and work with content that is relevant to them.

The feature is particularly valuable for larger organizations with many users, projects, and extensive content, where the need for clear structure and controlled access is high.

Permissions are still managed at multiple levels in the system—organization, area, binder, and folder or tab—where the highest level of permission always applies.
