iBinder’s support for construction inspections is now available across all our markets – providing a connected workflow from planning and on-site inspections to corrective actions and follow-up.
The solution helps clients, inspectors, contractors, and subcontractors work together throughout the entire inspection process.
A Connected Workflow Throughout the Inspection Process
The final inspection is an important milestone in a construction project. Any defects and deficiencies need to be documented, assigned to the appropriate party, rectified, and followed up.
iBinder supports pre-inspections, final inspections, follow-up inspections, and warranty inspections, bringing the entire process together in one common workflow.
With iBinder, you can:
Plan inspections with inspection sessions, participants, and documentation all in one place.
Record defects directly on site with photos, comments, and annotations on drawings.
Assign and follow up corrective actions with contractors and subcontractors.
Track status and outstanding defects in different views on web and mobile.
Ensure traceability through activity logs and history.
Export defect lists and documentation to PDF and Excel as supporting material for the inspection report.
Permissions and configurable statuses make it possible to manage responsibilities and workflows throughout the process.
From Project to Facility Management
When the project is completed, inspection items, images, documentation, and history can remain in iBinder together with the rest of the property information.
This creates a natural bridge between the project and facility management, ensuring that information remains accessible even after the project has been completed.

Configurable Metadata for Projects and Properties
As the number of projects and properties grows, it becomes increasingly important to structure information consistently.
Organizations with Enterprise can now configure which metadata should be available at project and property level in iBinder. This makes it easier to describe, find, and sort projects and properties, while also providing more context when information is exported from iBinder.
Create a structure that fits your organization
Previously, it has been possible to work with structured metadata for documents, but not in the same way for the project or property itself. Information such as project type, external project ID, phase, or category has therefore often had to be included in names and descriptions or managed outside iBinder.
Now you can decide which metadata fields to use and create a common structure based on your organization’s needs.
Fields can contain text, dates, or predefined options. For example, you can create a project type field with options such as new construction, renovation, or tenant adaptation.
Find the right information faster
The metadata you add becomes part of the global search in iBinder. This makes it easier to find the right project or property among many, without relying on how they have been named.
This is particularly useful for organizations managing large property portfolios or multiple projects in parallel that need to work with information consistently over time.

At the same time, we have updated the process for creating new projects and properties with a new look and the ability to enter metadata directly when creating them.

Configurable metadata for projects and properties is available to organizations with Enterprise.
The feature does not currently apply to procurement binders.
