Product updates October 2026
A simpler, clearer iBinder
We’ve updated the navigation to make it easier to find your way and understand how the platform is structured.
Here are some of the changes:
A clearer left-hand menu where you can easily find Home, Search and Recently visited, whichever organisation you belong to.
Smoother switching between organisations directly in the navigation, without having to go back to the start page.
Better organised features and settings, with the organisation’s settings gathered at the bottom of the menu.
Clearer colours and visual structure that help you distinguish between the organisation and the content you’re working with.
An updated user profile that now shares the same modern, consistent look as the rest of the platform.
Projects and Property Management will soon get new overview pages as well. The information is still there, but presented more clearly. You’ll also be able to see which properties and buildings are linked to the workspace directly on the overview.
At the same time, we’re saying goodbye to the word “binder”, which has now almost completely disappeared from the platform. Instead, we use terms like Project, Property Management and Procurement – clearer names that better reflect what you actually work with.
The goal is simple: less time finding your way and more time for what matters.
Bring your properties, projects and information together in one place
Imagine being able to easily find information about your properties and buildings, see which projects are ongoing or completed, and reuse that information when the next project starts.
With iBinder’s property structure, you can gather and organise your property portfolio, from properties and buildings to floors, units and rooms. You can attach valuable information to each part, such as year of construction, areas, designations and other attributes.
Connect properties, projects and property management
You can link a project or a property management workspace to one or more properties. This makes it easier to understand which buildings are affected by different projects and gives a better overview of the property’s history and ongoing work.
When information is linked to the right property, it also becomes easier to reuse it in future projects and in day-to-day management.
Already have property information in another system?
You don’t need to start over! With our Excel import, you can transfer your existing property structure, along with its associated information, to iBinder. That way you can get started faster and keep building on the information you already have.
What does this mean for you?
A better overview of your property portfolio and related projects.
Less duplicated work, since existing information can be reused.
Smoother handovers between construction projects and property management.
Reduced risk of information loss when information is gathered and linked to the right property.
A shared information base that can grow and create value over time.
And this is just the beginning!
Properties are an area we’ll keep developing in iBinder. Our ambition is to make it ever easier to gather, find and use information, whether it comes from a previous construction project, an existing property system or day-to-day management.
Because information shouldn’t stay behind in a finished project. It should keep creating value throughout the property’s entire lifecycle.

Integrate securely: API clients you control
Connecting iBinder with your other systems has become both easier and more secure.
With our latest update, you manage API clients directly in your organisation, and on Enterprise you can restrict an integration to selected areas. You decide what an integration can see and do, and you can start small.
Start small and open up when you’re ready
Previously, an API client got access to all of the organisation’s content from the outset. That’s a big step to take just to test an integration.
Now you can instead give a client access to one or more areas, such as a single project, a region or a group of properties. For each area, you choose which role the client should have, just as you would for a user. Areas can be added or removed later without needing to create a new client.
Manage your API clients yourself
When API clients are enabled for your organisation, organisation owners will find a dedicated API clients page in the organisation menu. There you can:
Create new clients and choose a role for each one
See at a glance which areas each client can access, or whether it has access to the whole organisation
Reset a client’s key if it has been lost or may have been exposed
Delete clients that are no longer in use
What’s new?
Restrict an API client to selected areas (Enterprise)
Choose the client’s role per area: reader, creator or administrator
Change a client’s areas after creation
New API clients page with the same look as the rest of iBinder
A clear overview of what each client has access to

On our API support page, you can read more about iBinder’s integration options and what to consider before setting up an integration. You’ll also find a link to our public API documentation, with guides, a quickstart and a ready-made Postman collection for testing.
Availability
API clients are an add-on that can be enabled on all new plans. Contact our support team to enable it for your organisation. Per-area restrictions are built on Areas and are available to organisations on Enterprise.
